There are so many positive aspects of spending 2 weeks in Paris, but the best of them all is obviously food. I always have so much fun going to local markets, as stands are full of amazing cheeses, fruits, meats and breads. Today I really felt like having no fuss brunch, so I bought couple of figs, fresh baguette and goat's cheese. I really like simple solutions (in my life and in my kitchen) so all I had to do was toast couple of bread's slices, spread some cheese and slice figs. I wouldn't even call it a recipe as it take literally 2 minutes to prepare.
Fig Tartines
(makes 1 portions)
2 slices of fresh bread (I used baguette )
40 g goat cheese
3 small, fresh figs
Honey
Place 2 slices of bread into the toaster. Toast for around 1 minute till warm and crispy. Move slices on the small serving plate, spread goat cheese and top with sliced figs.
