Chili Lamb Koftas served with Tzatziki, Garlic Coriander Butter and Naan Bread

I love to imagine I live in small, wooden house with huge kitchen, soft sofas, big table for 12 and the most beautiful view on Mediterranean Sea. Every morning, when I just wake up, I would put a summer dress and sandals on and go downstairs to local coffee shop owned by a handsome tanned Lorenzo who always welcome me with fresh pastries, cappuccino and an amazing smile. We would know each other for couple of years now, from the moment when I just decided to move a quite stressful job in London and work as a freelancer in this beautiful place. I'd never regret my decision and would be the happiest person alive. After breakfast, I'd d go down to food market as I was promised they'd keep some of the freshest lamb for me. I'd also buy fresh yogurt and some vegetables as my fiance and friends would come over and I'm hosting little party for them.
When I'm back home, I'd pour some organic red wine(from local producer hmmm- Luca?) into my glass and start preparing the chili koftas for dinner. When they finally arrive, the table would be set and prepared and meat sizzling on the BBQ. Our diner would last couple of bottles of red wine and after we'd just decide to go for long long walk on the beach.
Not difficult to guess, I absolutely adore slow, Mediterranean dolce vita and I seriously would love to live somewhere warm one day. Not only people and weather, but also amazing, full of flavors food.
This menu is inspired by my last year trip to Greece, place I just can't stop thinking about.

Chili Lamb Koftas served with Tzatziki,
Garlic Coriander Butter and Naan Bread
(makes 3 portions)

Koftas
300 g minced lamb meat
Half of red onion
Small bunch of fresh coriander ( about 15 grams)
1 small chili pepper
2 garlic cloves
Salt, pepper

Tzatziki
250 ml natural yogurt
Half of fresh Cucumber
2 Garlic cloves
Salt, Pepper
Olive oil
Couple of black olives to decorate

Garlic and Coriander Butter
100 g butter
2 garlic cloves
10 g fresh coriander

Serve with
Naan Bread
Lemon

Place lamb meat in a big bowl and season with salt and black pepper.
Put red onion, fresh coriander, chili pepper and garlic in a food processor. Blend into the smallest pieces you can get, then mix with meat, until well combined and start shaping meat into the round shape - just like meatballs.
If you grill your koftas on a BBQ, stick 3 little meatballs on the skewers, and cook it for around 8 minutes until brown.
If you preparing it in your kitchen, just simply heat the olive oil  in a large pan over a medium heat and fry koftas for around 6 minutes on each side. Make sure they have enough space on a pan, otherwise they will stick to each other.
To prepare Tzatziki sauce, transfer fresh natural yogurt into a serving dish. Peel and grate cucumber, crush the garlic with squeezer and add to yogurt. Mix all ingredients together, and season with salt and pepper. Pour some olive oil on the top, and decorate with couple of black olives.
For garlic butter, simply crush the garlic, chop the coriander thinly and mix both  with butter.
Warm up naan bread  and place it on large serving plate with lamb koftas, serve garlic butter and Tzatziki sauce on the side.

Mediterranean Feast ready !
