I was wondering how should I call this super simple recipe as I'm not sure I dare to name it a Greek Salad. The real recipe calls for variety of different vegetables, including cucumbers and olives which I didn't use. I don't want to be one of those people who throw feta cheese on the top of greens and think that' what Greek Salad is about. Original version of this dish doesn't also include lettuce or leaves, it's just full of fresh, chunky best quality vegetables, served with amazing feta cheese.
I mixed 3 different types of tomatoes, as they were so pretty I could't resist to use them. Little rocket took a place under the vegetables and added a little stronger flavor to the whole composition.

Almost a Greek Salad
(1 portion)
20 g rocket salad
1 small beefsteak tomato
Half brown tomato- I believe is called Kumato
Half yellow tomato
Half small red onion
Half red, sweet, bell pepper
100 g feta cheese
Olive oil
Dried oregano
Freshly ground pepper
Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Place rocket salad on the serving dish. Cut tomatoes, onion, pepper into thin slices, and arrange them on the top of the salad. Pop chunky slice of feta cheese in the middle, and generously drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle with oregano. Serve with pitta bread, or like I did, with wholegrain bread roll.
