Best you ever had (Hot chocolate )

Yesterday I stayed at home watching new season of The Walking Dead, playing with Lightroom and listening Adele's new album( It's amazing). I took my christmas tree out and I really felt a Christmas spirit in the air, so I decided to prepare a hot chocolate. I wanted a real deal- no powdered mix from the box, just rich drink, full of flavour and spices. I need to admit- there is something really magic in a cup of hot chocolate, and all of the sudden you feel like a kid again. I'm pretty sure you are going to love this recipe- it's thick, sweet (but not too much) and really comforting.
Feel free to add a bit more of spices in there, depending how you like it. Little tip: You can leave hot hot chocolate mixture in the fridge overnight, it will absorb more orange favour. The only thing you have to do it's to warm it up again.
Best Hot Chocolate You Ever Had
(makes 2 large cups)
300 semi skimmed milk
100 g dark, 70 % cocoa chocolate, chopped
30 g good quality milk chocolate, chopped
175 ml single cream
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
Orange zest from 1/2 of orange

In a medium size pot heat 150 ml of milk and add chopped dark and milk chocolate. Whisk gently until chocolate has melted and pour in remaining milk and single cream. Keep it over a medium heat for around 2 more minutes, until mixture is hot but not boiling ( we want to drink it straight away), add cinnamon ginger and orange zest.
Pour into 2 large cups and enjoy. Sing Jingle Bells.
